All Youth Day
Held annually on the first Saturday of the National Celebration in Shelbyville, Tennessee, All Youth Day features a judging contest, clinics, and plenty of time to hang out with friends. The Kid’s Celebration Clinic is an educational, hands-on series of mini-clinics. All Youth Day is free so come have some fun!
Apprentice Certified Riding Instructor
This is a program to start youth on the road to becoming certified riding instructors. You would work with kids under a certified instructor and learn the proper ways to teach someone to ride. You must be 14-18 years of age for this program.

Creative Contests

Trail
TWHBEA offers many overall and high point awards to our youth in the sport of trail riding. We offer the following programs; Competitive Trail Riding, Endurance, Limited Distance, Open Gaited Breed Trail Riding and Orienteering.
The Tennessee Walking Horse is fast becoming the preferred breed of horse to enjoy on the trail and in an effort to give back TWHBEA also offers youth awards for Trail Volunteering and Trail Promotion. With family support being essential to having youth on the trails TWHBEA offers a family award in the Distance Program.
